As Floridians head to the polls, they have an embarrassment of riches to choose from for both state and federal races — a testament to what decades of conservative governance can do for a state.
In Florida’s 6th District, the choice for Congress could not be clearer. Rep. Randy Fine (R., Fla.) has easily earned another term in Congress; during his short time in Congress, Fine has already delivered for Floridians; he and his team have already handled over 1,500 constituent service cases — through that work, they have returned millions of dollars directly to the taxpayers he represents in Congress.
Furthermore, Fine quickly established himself as one of the staunchest and most articulate defenders of President Donald Trump’s foreign policy successes at a time when some in the GOP are quick to take potshots at the president.
Fine has quickly proven to be one of the House’s strongest workhorses; he’s boasted about how he has yet to miss a vote in either committee or on the House floor, and he is one of the leading voices supporting Trump’s legislative agenda, like the SAVE America Act.
But Fine has also led the legislative efforts for bills like the No Welfare for Noncitizens Act, which he estimates could save almost $200 billion by preventing non-U.S. citizens from receiving welfare benefits that are federally funded; he is also one of the champions of the Contract Our Veterans Act, which would help veteran-owned small businesses across America.
