TICK TOCK: The deadline to withdraw from the ballot in Montana is Monday, and both independent Senate candidate Seth Bodnar and Democratic nominee Alani Bankhead are people to keep an eye on as Democrats try and consolidate the field behind someone to take on Republican Kurt Alme.
ONWARD AND UPWARD: Alexa Henning, a former top official at the Office of Director of National Intelligence under Tulsi Gabbard, launched Off the Record Advisory this week. Henning is also an alums of Sens. Ron Johnson (R., Wis.) and Ted Cruz (R., Texas).
DEMS IN DISARRAY: State Representative Reilly Neill, who came up short in the Democratic Senate primary in Montana, doesn’t sound confident that Alani Bankhead is consolidating Democratic support. “I rebuilt the base that’s now blindly coalescing behind Bankhead,” she tweeted in response to Matthew Foldi sharing a Washington Reporter story about the Montana Senate race. “Your billionaire buddies think you can steal these votes with dirty money?”
AD DEBUT: Marty O’Donnell, the GOP’s nominee to run against Rep. Susie Lee (D., Nev.), released a new ad drawing on his background as a legendary music composer. “If you neglect a piano, nothing will sound right,” O’Donnell, who composed the Halo theme music, among other accomplishments, noted. “And the same is true with our economy. It’s time to get Congress back in tune.”
