WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE: The Washington Free Beacon’s Jon Levine reported that Democratic congressional candidate Adam Hamawy “served as a defense witness in the 1995 trial of terrorist mastermind Omar Abdel-Rahman (AKA ‘the Blind Sheikh’).”
WAKE-UP CALL FOR DEMOCRATS: The American Jewish Congress (AJC) called the Democrats’ decision to nominate Graham Platner in Maine a “wake-up call.” Following Gov. FROM BALTIMORE TO THE BELTWAY: Jimmy’s Seafood, which hosted Small Business Administrator Kelly Loeffler on Tax Day, was one of the small businesses invited to the White House’s Small Business Summit this week. “Small businesses aren’t just part of the economy – they are the backbone of it,” the iconic restaurant tweeted following the meeting. “To every dreamer, builder, and grinder out there…nothing but respect for the work, sacrifice, and dedication it takes every single day.”
IWF GALA: The Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) hosted its annual gala, featuring remarks and panels from a series of women in the Trump administration, including Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard. Among those spotted were Alexa Henning, Marisela Ramirez, FCC Chair Brendan Carr, Sebastian Gorka, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Interior Doug Burgum, Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, FBI Director Kash Patel, Alexis Wilkins, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Adele and David Malpass, Rebecca and Sean Spicer, Katie Pavlich, Gavy Friedson, Nicole Kiprilov, Meaghan Mobbs, Natalie Bauman, Gabby Hoffman, Caroline Downey, Libbey Dean, Carrie Sheffield, Carrie Lukas, Patrice Onwuka, Nicole Kiprilov, Anna Laudiero, and Alex Salvi. Following the event, Henning noted that “One of the things that stuck with me the most…was a speaker noting we are losing women and we’re losing them to socialism. Recent polling indicates that young women are among the most supportive demographics for socialist ideals in the U.S. Socialism keeps getting rebranded by the Democrat Party, but the core problem hasn’t changed. Freedom, opportunity, and strong families are what truly empower women to build their futures and shape our nation’s success.”
