Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R., Ark.) is leaning into America’s culture wars in her reelection campaign, according to her latest ad — which was obtained exclusively by the Washington Reporter.

In Sanders’s new ad, titled “Not Comply,” a group of female cross country athletes meet their newest teammate: a man. “What’s up, girls?” he asks his new teammates, alongside a bureaucrat from Washington, D.C., who said that his presence on the team is necessary for the team’s federal funding.

“Who thought this was a good idea?” one of the female players asks. Sanders certainly doesn’t.

Arkansas’s incumbent Republican governor appears on set, noting that “in 2024, the Biden administration said we must allow men to play women’s sports or we would lose millions in federal funding.”

“We did not comply,” Sanders notes. “I won the fight to keep men out of women’s sports, locker rooms, and restrooms, and I will always stand for what’s right against the out of control left.”

Sanders emphasized that point to the Reporter, saying that “the dividing line in politics is no longer right versus left. It’s normal versus crazy. In Arkansas, we’re holding the line and I’m proud we won the fight to keep men out of women’s sports, locker rooms, and restrooms.”

Sanders is expected to easily prevail over Democratic state Senator Fredrick Love in the November election.
