The Biden-Harris administration has been marked by failure, ineptitude, and a complete lack of accountability.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have repeatedly and intentionally made disastrous decisions that have harmed Americans at home as well as our allies abroad.
The most recent catastrophic failure was the assassination attempt on July 13th.
President Donald Trump’s life was spared by a millimeter and a miraculous turn of his head. The assassin took the life of Corey Comperatore and injured several more attendees.
The question on everyone’s mind that night was: How did this happen? The Secret Service is tasked with guarding the president, presidential candidates, and others in their protective care. They must be detail-oriented, meticulous, and wholly dedicated to their jobs.
Many have spoken about the specific failures of July 13th, including Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle. I’ve spent most of my adult life in the business world, where failures and mistakes have consequences.
In this instance, President Biden and Vice President Harris refused to deliver consequences for Director Cheatle or anyone in the Secret Service. Her tone at this week’s House Oversight hearing was arrogant in her refusal to provide answers, leading many Democrats to join us in asking for her resignation.
Ultimately, the bipartisan roar of opposition to Cheatle’s leadership left her with no other choice and she resigned 10 days too late, even after the White House refused to fire her.
This lack of accountability isn’t new for the Biden-Harris administration.
If we look back over the biggest failures of the Biden-Harris administration, there has been zero accountability.
Kamala Harris was sent to Russia to dissuade Putin from invading Ukraine. He invaded the very next day, but no one called it a diplomatic failure from the Vice President.
Biden and Harris oversaw the withdrawal from Afghanistan, executed so poorly that 13 American service members lost their lives and twenty years of American military presence in Afghanistan were erased in just a few weeks.
Today, the Taliban controls Afghanistan and is stronger than ever before. There have been zero firings or resignations from anyone in the Biden-Harris administration.
Biden put Kamala Harris in charge of the border crisis several years ago. Harris never actually saw the border; she made a bunch of weird speeches that never addressed the true crisis, and illegal border crossings only rose under her tenure. Add to that the failed leadership of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, possibly the worst cabinet secretary our nation has seen in decades. He dismantled the successful border policies of President Trump and allowed record levels of fatal fentanyl doses into this country.
Despite being impeached by the House of Representatives, Biden refused to fire him.
Have you picked up on the trend here? There is zero accountability in the Biden-Harris administration. There are no consequences for failure, no punishments for incompetence, and no path forward to right the wrongs made by inept leaders and bad policy.
Real leadership acknowledges mistakes and understands that accountability makes your organization stronger. Real leadership is having the humility to know when it’s time to go and let someone else do better. Real leadership is making the tough call to terminate employees who cannot perform at the expected level.
The stakes couldn’t be higher. The situation could not be more fraught. True leadership is needed in the White House now more than ever. November cannot get here soon enough, so we can end this failed administration and restore President Trump’s strong and effective leadership to save America before it’s too late.
