The Arkansas lawmaker has traveled to Texas, Florida, and Nebraska to boost his current colleagues, Sens. Ted Cruz, Rick Scott, and Deb Fischer — all of whom have come under assault on the airwaves from Democratic ad campaigns. All three are favored to win their elections next week.
Beyond shoring up his fellow incumbents, Cotton has traveled to Ohio for Bernie Moreno, Michigan for Mike Rogers, Nevada for Sam Brown, Pennsylvania for Dave McCormick, and Wisconsin for Eric Hovde.
Cotton’s campaigning hasn’t gone unnoticed. Mike Berg, the communications director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), told the Washington Reporter that “Sen. Cotton has been a great ally to NRSC as we fight to take back the Senate majority from Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats. NRSC is grateful that Sen. Cotton is barnstorming competitive races on behalf of our candidates in toss-up races.”
