SCOOP: RSC Chair: Israel needs to “end Hamas's reign of terror”
Rep. August Pfluger made it clear where he stands on the two year anniversary of Hamas's genocidal invasion of southern Israel.
On the two year anniversary of the barbaric terrorist attacks on Israel by Palestinian terrorists, the Chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC) made it clear that Israel needs to “end Hamas’s reign of terror.”
Rep. August Pfluger (R., Texas), a decorated Air Force veteran, told the Washington Reporter that it’s clear where the blame for the war lies.
“Two years ago today, Hamas launched a barbaric and unprovoked assault on Israel, slaughtering innocent men, women, and children, then parading their victims’ bodies through the streets in celebration,” Pfluger said. “This evil cannot stand, and anti-Semitism must be outright condemned and confronted.”
Under Pfluger’s leadership, the RSC has continued to be one of the pro-Israel heavyweights in Congress, and Pfluger’s remarks solidified that standing — while also emphasizing that President Donald Trump’s leadership is what’s needed to bring peace to the war-torn region.
“Israel has every right to defend itself, and I’m grateful President Trump has taken decisive action to restore peace, return the hostages, and end Hamas’s reign of terror through an emerging ceasefire and peace deal,” Pfluger said. “I remain committed to supporting President Trump’s work to ensure an atrocity like October 7th, 2023, never happens again.”
