Op-Ed: Bonnie Glick: Labour’s labors of idiocy and the leftists' loony larks
Each leader of every single country that chooses to recognize a “Palestinian” state is an anti-Semite, plain and simple, Bonnie Glick explains.
The Labour Party’s weak leaders in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia decided that they would join the equally weak Leftist French President Emmanuel Macron in plans to recognize a “Palestinian” state, demonstrating their continued global cluelessness and reflecting the innate anti-Semitism of the Left.
For Labour, for Socialists, and for the Left, the best solution is capitulation to mobs protesting against Israel, firebombing synagogues, and beating visibly Jewish people on the street rather than owning up to the problem described by President Donald Trump in his address to the United Nations General Assembly: unhinged, unchecked migration.
In the case of Europe, this unchecked migration comes largely from Arab and other Muslim-majority countries such that London is commonly referred to as Londonistan. It is easier for these global leaders to cave to rioters than to protect their Jewish citizens. It is better for these cowardly heads of state and government to allow daily anti-Semitic attacks on their streets than to punish those committing them, even if those criminals are in their countries through “other than normal immigration channels.”
Donald Trump spoke at the United Nations about the errors committed not just by President Joe Biden, but also by European leaders for being weak, for not enforcing their own laws, and for allowing into our countries those who do not aspire to the hopes and dreams of the civilized world. They are not looking for a better life for their children or for the women and girls in their families. They are looking to subjugate the West to Sharia law.
Why don’t Macron, Keir Starmer, Mark Carney, and Anthony Albanese — as well as the leaders of Spain, Ireland, Norway, Slovenia, and other suicidally-oriented governments care about the futures of their countries? Why do they allow mobs of armed Arabs and their brainwashed “western” friends to hunt down Jews on their streets?
Two reasons: anti-Semitism and idiocy.
The first is the most obvious. Each leader of every single country that chooses to recognize a “Palestinian” state is an anti-Semite, plain and simple. It is impossible to explain away that at the UN, on the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashana (the new year for Jews and one of the holiest days of the year), countries would announce their recognition of a state known as “Palestine.”
This is nothing short of a reward for “Palestinian” terrorists who carried out the worst terrorist attack on Jews since the Holocaust — 718 days prior, on October 7, 2023. These global leaders, as well as elected Democrats in the United States Congress, think that “Palestinian” terrorists’ thirst for blood will stop with their tribute to them of a recognized state. They are wrong-headed and naive.
These same “Palestinians” and their descendants will visit upon these “enlightened” leaders more and more terrorism. They have said so, they have promised to do so, and we know that they are capable of doing it.
The second reason why these moronic leaders have chosen to recognize a new state of “Palestine” is because they are too dumb to think through the consequences of their actions. The political pablum they spew isn’t the harmless stuff of campaigns. There are actual implications of this action, including the questions that come from it. What are the borders of a state of “Palestine”? Who will lead this new state? What kind of currency will people living there use? What will the country code for this country be when people want to make phone calls there? What will the internet suffix domain for the country be? What will happen to the Jews living in this newly-created state — will they be free to live there just as Israeli Arabs are free to live in (and vote in) Israel?
When America blocks the establishment of the state of “Palestine” in the UN Security Council, that will put a stop to any progress made related to international standards setting for a new state of “Palestine.” There will be no country code, no new currency, no internet domain. Those same poor “Palestinians” who are holding Israelis and Americans hostage in Gaza will do what they do best: riot, maim, murder, rape, and destroy. And this action won’t be limited to attacks on Israel, because these terrorists are living all over Europe, both overtly and in sleeper cells.
We have seen that Israel is now prepared to defend itself against terrorists. But the rest of the civilized world is sleepwalking into the hands of terror. Hamas leaders celebrated the Jewish New Year as the day on which civilized nations surrendered to terrorism. Europeans, Canadians, and Australians declared Hamas victorious and awarded “Palestinian” terrorists the first prize they sought. Every subsequent prize, to include the Islamization of Europe and the establishment of a global caliphate will remain on the terrorists’ lists of demands.
