Thirty-three members of the Republican Study Committee (RSC) teamed up to kick off America’s 250th birthday to celebrate, in the words of Rep. Rich McCormick (R., Ga.), the “great experiment called the United States of America.”

The RSC’s latest video, obtained exclusively by the Washington Reporter, features Reps. August Pfluger (R., Texas), McCormick, Brandon Gill (R., Texas), Rudy Yakym (R., Ind.), William Timmons (R., S.C.), Kimberlyn King-Hinds (R., CNMI), Beth Van Duyne (R., Texas), Randy Weber (R., Texas), Bob Latta (R., Ohio), Troy Downing (R., Mont.), John McGuire (R., Va.), Russ Fulcher (R., Idaho), Ralph Norman (R., S.C.), Jim Jordan (R., Ohio), Mike Ezell (R., Miss.), Dan Newhouse (R., Wash.), Troy Balderson (R., Ohio), Dave Taylor (R., Ohio), Jeff Crank (R., Colo.), Warren Davidson (R., Ohio), Kat Cammack (R., Fla.), Roger Williams (R., Texas), David Kustoff (R., Tenn.), Jason Smith (R., Mo.), Mark Alford (R., Mo.), Tracey Mann (R., Kansas), Adrian Smith (R., Neb.), Clay Fuller (R., Ga.), John Rose (R., Tenn.), Mark Harris (R., N.C.), Darin LaHood (R., Ill.), Andrew Clyde (R., Ga.), and Rick Allen (R., Ga.) giving their birthday wishes to “the greatest country the world has ever seen,” as Gill said.

“The United States of America has been the place where freedom wins, opportunity thrives, and ordinary people can do extraordinary things,” Yakym says in the clip.

“Our job as members of Congress, as conservatives, Republicans, is to make sure that we can conserve the America that we got to experience, so future generations, our children and our grandchildren also get to enjoy it,” Gill said. His colleagues added their reflections on what makes America unique.

“We’ve done more to lift up the human experience and show the rest of the world what can be done than any other country in the history of the world,” Downing said. “America has created more prosperity than every other nation in the history of the world combined,” Fulcher added.

The Fourth of July in 2026 is both America’s 250th birthday and the first birthday of the Working Families Tax Cuts, which Van Duyne helped shepherd into law. “When we passed on this anniversary of July 4, the President signed our Working Families Tax Cut Bill (WFTC), that was a bill that provided the largest tax cut in our nation’s history to those families that needed it the most,” she says in the video.

Williams, her fellow Texan, chairs the House Committee on Small Business, and he touted how the WFTC “cuts taxes, cuts regulations. It empowers people to be great Americans and realize the dream.” Cammack added that it also “created the Trump Accounts. Every child in the country is eligible for $1,000 to jump start their American Dream.”

“We’re not just caretakers of a glorious past, we are stewards of the freest nation on the freakin’ earth,” Fuller — the newest House Republican — added.

The Pfluger-led RSC is comprised of many of Trump’s staunchest allies in Congress, and the video features a cameo from none other than the 45th and 47th President of the United States who reminds viewers that “America is the greatest place on earth.”
