“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter any more in this country and people violate laws any time they want,” Ellis-Marseglia said during a county meeting.
Casey’s allies in the liberal media have gone to bat for him. “In Pennsylvania, the Election Litigation Continues, With a Twist,” the New York Times reported. The Times’s framing led some commentators to note that the outlet “covers Democrats openly breaking the law to steal an election like [they’re in] a spicy Hallmark Christmas movie.”
Casey is also relying on Elias’s help, who legal expert Jonathan Turley called a “Democratic dirty trickster” who wants to help “steal a Senate seat.”
“It is not the first time Elias seemed to morph into those he denounced,” Turley said. “Previously in New York, Elias unsuccessfully sought to flip the result in a congressional race by claiming that the Dominion voting machines somehow switched or changed votes. Sound familiar?”
