Employees at the Ford Foundation, which is currently under fire for bankrolling pro-terrorist organizations, have donated thousands of dollars to Democrats across America, according to a Washington Reporter review of political donations.
Henry Ford III for example, a trustee of the foundation, donated $1,000 to Rep. Elissa Slotkin’s (D., Mich.) Senate campaign in March, which Republicans are eager to latch on to.
“Michigan Democrats like Elissa Slotkin shamelessly taking money from far-left extremist groups embodies how wrong and out of touch they are with Michiganders,” Michigan Republican Party Chair Pete Hoekstra told the Reporter. “We need elected officials who will stand up for us and work to lower the cost of living and secure our border — not cozy up to radical, pro-Hamas organizations. Their first and only priority should be Michigan.”
Lower-level employees have also financed Democratic Party incumbents, such as President Joe Biden and Reps. Terri Sewell (D., Ala.) and Katie Porter (D., Calif.), and have contributed to former Rep. Mondaire Jones’s (D., N.Y.) comeback bid, as well as to Sue Altman in New Jersey.
Ford Foundation employees have also donated to hybrid PACs. Earmarked donations went to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Ma.) and Reps. Hakeem Jeffries (D., N.Y.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), and Jamaal Bowman (D., N.Y.), as well as Democratic challengers Josh Riley and Adam Frisch — all anti-Israel Democrats.
“Josh Riley refuses to denounce antisemitism and now we know why,” Rep. Marc Molinaro (R., N.Y.), Riley’s opponent, told the Reporter: “He’s worried he’ll offend big donors and lose the support of extremists. This is blood money from people who support an evil ideology.”
The Ford Foundation has contributed millions of dollars to forced sterilization programs in India, CCP-backed universities, and “organizations whose employees, events, and projects celebrated Hamas’s Oct. 7 terrorist attack and decried the ‘Zionist entity,’” the Washington Free Beacon reported.
