Ventry and Colas, both former congressional chiefs of staff, saw a gap in the Washington media landscape for a conservative-leaning publication that gets into the nuance of policy, covering complex issues like healthcare reform, antitrust, defense procurement, financial services, and technology policy with depth and specificity.
In just two years, the Washington Reporter has grown into a must-read for more than 15,000 D.C. insiders, including thousands of congressional staff, administration officials, and elected leaders. The Reporter has interviewed the President multiple times, every leading Senator and Representative, dozens of Cabinet officials, and more.
